Management Staff

Jay is the founder and Director of Canada TEMS Academy. Having completed his MASc in Engineering from University of Waterloo, Jay opened TEMS with the hope of spreading his love of education and supporting international students through their academic careers. With 20 years of university application consulting expertise, Jay is a leader in academic management and pathway creation, and continues to successfully guide students in the right direction for their future goals. Jay also holds a BSc and a Masters of Engineering from Hanyang University in South Korea.
General Manager
Sara has been working with TEMS since 2010 in a variety of different roles, from tutor and classroom teacher to camp and programs manager. As the General Manager of TEMS, Sara oversees the many school programs and provides support to the Principal and Guardian Manager.   
Sara holds both an Honours BA and an M.A. from McMaster University, as well as a BEd from Niagara University. She is an Ontario Certified Teacher with twenty years of volunteer and working experience in the education field and over ten working specifically with international and English Language Learners.
Alex has been working with TEMS since 2011 in a variety of roles including camp teacher, classroom teacher, and recruiter. He currently is the Principal of TEMS Academy. As principal, it is his role to ensure the quality and delivery of our high school credit courses and TCSP program, as well as the needs of our full time students. 
Alex holds an Honours BA from McMaster University, as well as a BEd from Niagara University. He is an Ontario Certified Teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience including 4 years of online teaching experience and 3 years teaching in South Korea at a Private Elementary School focusing on ESL education. 
Guardian Manager
Emma has been with TEMS since 2014 serving in a range of roles including tutor, teacher, camp teacher, academic advisor, and now as the Guardian Manager. As the Guardian Manager, Emma oversees TEMS' Guardian and Umbrella programs, supporting the social and academic growth of students living in Canada. 
Emma holds an Honours BA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a BEd from Nipissing University. She is an Ontario Certified Teacher and holds certifications to teach English language provincially, nationally, and internationally.
