Emma graduated with distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2019 with a double major in Society, Culture, and Environment and Education and a minor in French. Emma is an Ontario Certified Teacher holding primary, junior, and senior Social Sciences basic qualifications and an additional qualification in Teaching English Language Learners.
Emma is currently completing her TESL Ontario and Canada certifications with Conestoga College and has international experience teaching ESL in Italy and studying in Hong Kong. Emma has been with Canada TEMS Academy since 2014 serving in a range of roles including tutor, teacher, academic advisor, and now as the Manager of the Guardian Program.

Katie has been with TEMS since 2015 as a daily, summer camp, and winter camp teacher. Katie holds an Honours B.A. in the double majors of English and History from Wilfrid Laurier University, and has been a long-time volunteer in the education sector, specializing in literacy and English as a Second Language.
Katie received her BEd from WLU in 2018, and will be receiving her MEd from the University of Prince Edward Island in September of 2020. She focused her Master's degree on research to support student success in online learning, which she has been practicing since 2016. In addition to running the local tutoring division of TEMS Academy, Katie will spend the upcoming school year mentoring student teachers who are completing their practicums online.
